When do doors open for a show?

The doors typically open one hour prior to show time. Please refer our Calendar page or www.axs.com for the most up-to-date information.

What are the set times?

We always post set times a few hours before the show on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Are there any opening acts at the show?

Any support acts will be listed on our Calendar page or at www.axs.com. Support acts are often added closer to the show date.

Do you allow re-entry?

No. Once your ticket has been scanned you will not be allowed to leave and re-enter the venue.

Are you an all-ages venue?

Yes.

Do you serve food and alcohol?

Yes. You must be over 21 to drink alcohol. You will be asked for ID.

I am a journalist interested in covering a show. Can I get press and photo passes?

We do not approve press or photo passes. Please contact the artist directly. We do not have their contact information.

Can I bring a camera to the show?

No professional recording devices are allowed. This includes professional cameras (any camera with a detachable lens).

How can I meet my favorite band?

You have to contact the band directly. We do not allow access for people to meet the bands.

Do you have a lost and found?

If you lost something at the El Rey, please contact us.

Who do I contact about booking my band at the El Rey?

I’m interested in booking the El Rey for a private event.

I tried calling the El Rey and no one answered! What should I do?

Please call us Monday-Friday 10am-6pm if you have a question. Otherwise, leave a voicemail and we'll get back to you as soon as possible (if it's on a weekend, it could be several days).

Ticketing FAQs

Do you have a box office where I can buy tickets before a show?

We do not have a box office. If you’d like to buy tickets before a show, please visit axs.com. We also sell tickets at Amoeba Music in Hollywood and Origami Vinyl in Echo Park, but advise you to call before to make sure they have stock available. Finally, we sell a limited number of our tickets through our web store with reduced service fees.

Do you sell tickets at the door?

If a show is not sold out, we will sell tickets the night of the show when doors open. It is cash only.

How do I find out what shows you have coming up?

The best way to keep up with new show announcements is by following us on Facebook and Twitter. You can also use our handy Calendar to find out who we have performing here.

Does your theatre have seats?

We are a general admission, standing room only venue.

Do you have handicapped seating?

We do accommodate ADA seating. Please contact us ahead of time for more information.

Do you offer VIP table/bottle service?

We do not offer bottle service. Depending on the show, we sometimes have the VIP balcony open. We sell tables in the VIP balcony for $150 before the show on our web store or the night of the show. The tables seat four people and include four drink vouchers.

I forgot to print my tickets; can you scan them from my Smartphone?

Yes, but please have them up on your phone prior to entering the venue.
